VALERI SCHERSTJANOI
Valeri Scherstjanoi is a Laut poet, a visual artist and one of the strongholders in the field of Futurist and Dada poetry. As a child he grew up in Kazakhstan, in what was once the Soviet Union. As an expert in the field of Futurism and Dada,
he uses language as the raw conduit of sound and music. On his most recent tape, released by No Basement is Deep Enough, he displays excellent Lautdichtung, a form of abstract poetry injected with a deep emotional power.
