Klein Volk
After the incubation of their debut album Gulden Onvers Slices, Klein Volk is back with work, old and new. Expect brackish hands, clammy synths and a completely relaxed ambience concocted by Marie Baeke and Wesley Buysse, with some live help from Timo Bonneure.
Pega
The dino post-punk of Pega - the trio formed by Aude, Bárbara and Leslie - recalls fine spirits such as The Slits and Lizzie Mercier Descloux. Indeed, crazy and very contagious. From their modest apartment in Brussels, the three import a few barrels of rock and roll to the Arteveldestad.
75 Dollar Bill
Since 2012, Che Chen and Rick Brown have been crafting a completely unique sound with their 75 Dollar Bill outfit. Brown plays elemental rhythms on a rudimentary multiplex crate, while Chens produces sparse yet expressive guitar fireworks. The result is an uncategorizable amalgamation of West African blues, Sun Ra-infused space jazz and New York no-wave.
