KRAAK FEST 2025 IN PICTURES

Thu. 13 March 2025
Another KRAAK Fest, another visual wrap-up by Hans Van Der Linden and his all-access cam helping us relive and re-cherish the people and the moments from our 5th edition at Het Bos :')

KRAAK FEST 25 HIGHLIGHTS: Rhodri Davies

Fri. 07 March 2025
Welsh harpist Rhodri Davies fluidly and fluently traverses the dichotomy of improvisation and composition in his own singular cadence. With a musical trajectory spanning several decades, Rhodri deploys a radical approach to the harp and its possibilities, treating the instrument as a sculptural tool whose range extends beyond its traditional capacities while never losing love for its folk music roots. Below: some pictures and videos to give you a clue of what to expect this Saturday eve!

KRAAK FEST 2025 HIGHLIGHTS: Shitty Shed

Thu. 06 March 2025
Gabber the French way, as if drained from the swamp: lurking in Villefranche-de-Rouerge is Judith Bassuel and her demented electronic alter Shitty Shed. Constructing rhythms through mad dactylographic prowess, Shitty Shed draws you into her den of saturation with the deceptive straightforwardness of heavy drum machine distortion. Here we get a small glimpse of what drives her and her music to a dizzyingly contagious frenzy.

KRAAK FEST 2025 HIGHLIGHTS: R. Moro

Wed. 05 March 2025
The saucy, savory tunes of the elusive Moro almost seem to magically and eternally play themselves, though the one-man band shifting seamlessly between guitar and keyboard is as real as they come. While his output can be all over the place - from ambient meanderings to funhouse desert psychedelia - the magic of improvisation permeates throughout, winding down unknown paths not just for the listener but for the player himself. An already sold-out tape on the Troglosound label provides a small taste that only deepens the mystique, one which he decides to maintain by keeping things mostly under wraps ~ here's what we could dig up from this mysterious fella, the rest will be up to you to catch.
